How booking works at a Japanese adult-entertainment shop, from finding someone to the day itself. Shops are independent businesses with their own rules; this page covers what is common to almost all of them.

1. Find a shop or a girl

Start from an area, the search box, or Available now. Each girl's card shows where she stands today:

Available now

She can be booked right away.

From 21:00

She is free from that time today, or her shift starts then.

10:00-20:00

Her hours today. The shop has not said whether she is free right now, so ask.

Fully booked

Working, but no free time left today.

Done for today

Finished for today, or the shop is closed.

Off today

Not working today.

Each shop is one type of business. In short:

Soapland ソープランド

A private room with a bath, at the shop. The price is a bath fee plus a service fee.

Delivery Health デリヘル

She comes to your hotel or home.

Hotel Health ホテヘル

You check in at the shop, then meet her at a nearby hotel.

Fashion Health ファッションヘルス

A short, low-priced session at the shop.

In the English view, shop cards also show what the shop has told us it offers overseas visitors: Foreigners welcome, English spoken, Cards accepted, Receipts available. A shop without a label has simply not told us yet. It does not mean no.

2. Work out the price

Every shop has a Price tab. With a free account, the Price check button on a girl's page adds it up for you. A total is made of:

Course + Nomination fee + Options + Transport fee − Coupon

The price on a shop card, such as ¥12,000+, is that shop's shortest course. The price on a girl's card already includes her nomination fee and any coupon. The calculator's total is an estimate; the shop confirms the final price when you book.

3. Contact the shop

Use the LINE, WhatsApp or phone buttons on the shop's or girl's page. The LINE message is written for you in Japanese and starts with PinkJapanを見ました！ ("I saw you on PinkJapan"). Please keep that line: it tells the shop where you found them.

Some shops' LINE accounts cannot receive a pre-written message. The calculator then gives you a Copy button: copy the message, open LINE and paste it.

The shop will reply to confirm the time, the girl, the course and the total. Nothing is booked until they do.

4. On the day

• Be on time. If you will be late or need to cancel, tell the shop as early as you can.
• Bring cash unless the shop says it accepts cards. Many shops take cash only.
• Hotel delivery: for a delivery service, have your hotel name and room number ready. A transport fee may apply depending on the area.
• Only what is on the menu. What each type of shop may offer is set by Japanese law. Do not ask for anything the shop's menu does not list.
• No photos or recordings, and treat the girl the way you would want to be treated.
• Do not arrive drunk. Shops can refuse service.
